More About Me

Pat was employed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation for over 30 years and retired from her position as chief of the Registrar’s Office in 2011.  Her career included the development of several major training programs and technology-based training initiatives, one of which won her a Just Works Award from the U.S. Department of Justice.  She also served as one of the FBI’s pioneering distance learning experts in using various forms of technology to deliver training.

A pioneer in the field of technology based training (TBT), Pat frequently consulted in the application and delivery of TBT with other federal agencies, military branches and regional law enforcement agencies.  She received numerous awards for this work from within the FBI as well from the private sector.

Pat's professional success was recognized by both her undergraduate and graduate schools, when each selected her to receive their Distinguished Alumni Achievement Awards.

As a powerlifter, Pat's achievements on the bench press platform pale in comparison to her journey to "Collect Seeds" for Christ. She founded Collect Seeds Ministries, LLC, shortly after releasing her first book, Bench Pressing Threads of Faith. Since that book's release, Pat also served as host of Virginia Living Television's show Pressing Up, which aired on the Internet. With God's guidance she faithfully founded and serves God's Cross Project wherein she shares olive wood crosses with whomever God places in her path.

She currently resides in Fredericksburg, Virginia, with her husband, Rodney. Her son, Adam, and his wife welcomed their first child into their family in early 2020. Pat especially enjoys speaking to groups and delivering retreats on faith. She has been interviewed multiple times by press and television media.
