ABOUT ME
Patricia “Pat” Boord founded Collect Seeds Ministries shortly before she released her first book, Bench Pressing Threads of Faith. A gifted speaker, Pat honed her skills during her thirty-one years working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, finally retiring in 2011.

A native of Pennsylvania, Pat received a BS in music education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania; she later received an MS in Training and Learning from Nova Southeastern University.
​
After retiring, Pat turned a hobby into a competitive challenge when she began bench pressing to improve her health. She was awarded National Bench Press Champion five times and is the 2017 World Classic Masters Bench Press gold medalist.
​
In addition to her writing, Pat uses her photographic skills to develop inspiring note cards. She also delivers workshops and retreats on faith and has been interviewed in press and television media.
